Two Paris concerts announced. Vanessa and band will be in concert at Le Grand Rex in Paris on June 4 and 5. There is a review of Divinidylle in the new issue of The Boston Phoenix, a weekly arts & entertainment newspaper. It’s a very positive review with the critic saying, “It’s high time non-French pop fans discovered Vanessa Paradis.” We couldn’t agree more! You can read the review Here. (April 15, 2008) Vanessa at the Paléo Festival. Vanessa will appear at the Paléo Festival de Nyon Saturday, July 26. The latest is from Life & Style, a U.S. weekly tabloid. An unidentified “family insider” tells the magazine Vanessa and Johnny are to tie the knot on June 14. La Clef will screen at the 9th annual Francophone Film Festival in Athens, Greece. The festival begins today and continues through April 13. You can read more about the festival Here. (April 3, 2008) Divinidylle still in the Top 20. Divinidylle continues its impressive run. It’s the No. 13 album in France for the week March 23 – 29. Vanessa will participate in the Les Nuits de Fourvière music festival in Lyon, France by doing a concert there on July 23. The long awaited video clip for L’Incendie, the third single from Divinidylle, was released today via MSN. Albin de la Simone, the keyboardist on Vanessa's Divinidylle album and tour, releases his third album titled Catastrophe on April 21. For more information about the new album, see Here. (Mar. 21, 2008) Vote for Vanessa in Most Elegant Woman poll. Vanessa is one of four actresses in this month’s Hello magazine poll for Most Elegant Woman. Mabrouk El Mechri will direct and Gaumont will produce the film. Tentatively scheduled to begin in September, filming will take place for seven weeks in New York City. According to El Mechri, The Midwife Crisis tells the story of a bizarre love affair between a midwife and a loan-shark, "It's 'Punch Drunk Love"-y. It's not your typical cheesy romantic comedy. What a night for Vanessa and her fans! Vanessa took home two awards and sang two songs during tonight’s presentation of the prestigious French music awards, Victoires de la Musique. Vanessa won "Groupe ou artiste interprète féminine de l'année" and her album Divinidylle won "Album de chansons/variétés de l'année." Vanessa also sang her new single L’Incendie and later sang Syracuse, a tribute to legendary French singer Henri Salvador who died last month. Vanessa last won awards at this ceremony 18 years ago.
